Playing a musical instrument is something that many people aspire to, and in fact it’s something that many people make new years resolutions for, that never really follow up on that wish. However, something like guitar actually is not that hard to learn, and it can be a great opportunity actually for you to practice with an instrument and really see how things work with quick progression. The problems with some like piano is that they are just so hard to figure out it can be maddening to master them. But you can learn to play the guitar fast, or at least learn to strum them somewhat.

Keep your expectations realistic however, as with any type of instrument it’s really going to be what you put into them that’s going to dictate what you actually get out of them. That means if you put in the time to learn to play the guitar fast, you’re going to be able to do so, and even after just a year of diligence you can end up being pretty great. However, if you don’t put the time in, then you’re just never going to be able to get great at guitar, and you’ll find that you plateau pretty quickly actually.

But here are some things that you can do to make playing easier on yourself:

1. Take lessons.

While this is something that a lot of people don’t want to do because it costs money and it’s a hassle to fit into your schedule, it’s an absolute must if you want to succeed. That’s because what you’re going to find when you’re actually playing guitar is that you need the help of a master to show you what you should be doing with your fingers, how you should be playing, or just what you need to do to really make the right sound and understand certain notes and cord progressions. With someone to talk things through, you’d be amazed how much easier things get.

2. Learn how to read tablature.

When you’re just starting out and you really need to learn to play the guitar fast, you have to know how you can learn even the most basic of songs. A lot of the time it’s hard for you to just listen to things, and actually pick out how to play guitar parts and chords unless you’re very experienced. But tab is an easily and simply written guide that you can use for the hand movements that you need to employ. That way, it’s simple for you to replicate how to play a song, and you can actually learn all sorts of different things a lot easier that way than you would trying to read music at first.

3. Start with an electric guitar.

No matter how much you love acoustic guitars, if you want to succeed in playing them then you don’t want to start with one. You instead want to go with an electric because the strings tend to be a lot looser and thinner feeling, so they are not as hard on your hands. You don’t have to press down as hard, and you also can make sound a lot more easily. That ensures that you can keep playing, and do so without worrying too much about building up the calluses on your fingers.

4. Make things easy on yourself with an auto tuner.

Having some trouble learning how to tell when your guitar is in tune? Well start every session with an electrical tuner and you won’t need to worry. The right device is going to make it really easy for you to tune your guitar in a flash, and to do so without having to worry about struggling around with the strings too much. That way you can spend more time playing.

5. Practice, practice, practice.

There’s a reason that practice makes perfect has been a common saying for so long, and it’s because it’s incredibly true. If you don’t practice you’re never going to succeed, so if you want to be great at playing the guitar, you have to play a guitar. That’s the best way to learn to play the guitar fast, because the more hours you put in, the more you’re going to get out faster.

This is a Guitar Superstars review. If you’re looking for the actual Guitar Superstars download page, click here.

So you’re probably here because you’re interested in getting a Guitar Superstars review before deciding to buy the product. This is a good idea, as you should always know what you’re getting into before you get involved. Does Guitar Superstars work?

To make a long story short, my Guitar Superstars review will list some pros and cons about the program. From there, I hope you’ll have the info you need in order to make a decision.

I bought the Guitar Superstars program about three months ago. I had taken lessons for a few months about a year before that, but I had to stop because the cost was just too high for me.

Once my friend Randy told me (and showed me) what the Guitar Superstars program was doing for his skills, I decided I’d give it a shot. The videos looked pretty helpful and I liked the fact that each different style had a separate teacher, and a really accomplished one at that. I read a Guitar Superstars review that gave the program high marks, and there was a money back guarantee so I figured I didn’t have much to lose.

Check out the Guitar Superstars site here.

So, a few days later I laid out the $97 for the program and decided I’d give it a spin. I’ve read somewhere that this product sold in stores for $997 before it came online, but I don’t know if that’s true or not.

Anyway, what I can say is that the lesson center is packed with videos, tips, and drills, and it’s really easy to work your way through a logical progression that gets more challenging as it goes. The teachers obviously know what they’re doing, and they answer a lot of the questions in advance that I’d normally have for a teacher if I was taking the same lesson in person.

For the price of two in person guitar lessons, I have months’ worth of stuff to keep me busy and I can take these “lessons” whenever I want. I like the fact that I can pause and rewind them too (which I find myself doing often), as you obviously can’t do that in a real lesson.

See some sample Guitar Superstars lessons on their site. Or, continue reading my Guitar Superstars review.

As far as the pros go, I’ve basically just listed them. My guitar skills have gotten so much better and I’m playing some pretty difficult classic rock solos that I never would have been able to play even weeks ago. It’s pretty exciting to think about where I’ll be a few weeks from now.

Here are the cons about the program. First of all, Andy Johnson hasn’t invented a magical pill that you take that automatically makes everything great. The drills are great, but boring sometimes…and they take a decent amount of work and dedication. You might want to go at a slower pace than I did, which is fine. You’ll definitely get out of it what you put into it though.

I’m also not such a fan of the GSS Jam Machine. Even though they throw it in as a freebie, I haven’t used it since the first time I tried it out.

Then again, that’s not what the program’s all about. At $97 for a lifetime’s worth of updates that seem to continue to hit the site very regularly, my guitar skills have improved in a matter of weeks what it’d take me a couple thousand dollars’ worth of weekly lessons to achieve in a year. It’s a bargain if you’re willing to invest the time.

Well I guess that just about sums of my Guitar Superstars review. Good luck if you choose to go with the product, and stay committed if you’re serious.

Hi,

I’m Jason and I’m relatively new to the guitar world. I took some lessons about two years ago for a few months. I learned the scales and chords, and I was even able to play a few songs. Still, my instructor was only able to take me so far since the cost of lessons was adding up and I couldn’t afford it much longer. I thought I might learn on my own and read up as much as I could online, but I got discouraged since most things out there simply won’t guide you by the hand and bring you to the next level.

I gave up for about a year, until a friend of mine couldn’t stop talking about Guitar Superstars. After learning a little more about the product and realizing how it works, I decided I’d give things a shot again.

From there, I was hooked within days. I loved the lessons and I made more progress within days than I did in months before I stopped.

I can play so many songs now, even advanced ones. I haven’t put my guitar down since I started using the program, and I created this Guitar Superstars review to give you some more details about the product if you’re looking for them before you buy.

Enjoy the information I have to offer, or click here to visit the Guitar Superstars product site.

I wish you nothing but the best as far as your guitar journey goes.

-Jason
